cfnbuddy (by Infra Automator Labs ltd) is a provider of a service, and not the owner of the collected data. The data in git commits sent to you are yours only. We do not claim any rights to them.
The personal data required for payment to our payment provider, Paddle includes an email address a credit card number. The credit card number is managed by Paddle, a PCI-compliant provider that promises to keep your data securely. After sign up, we ask for a contact person name. You must provide the full legal name. In other cases where you give out more info, it’ll be obvious what data you’re providing. For example, entering your email to sign up to a newsletter.
cfnbuddy logs high-level traffic data through Amazon CloudFront, the service that hosts this website. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends and administering the site.
Also, the main function of the cfnbuddy application is batch jobs that are run in the background on behalf of the user every hour. The application logs help us confirm that cfnbuddy is working as expected for you and helps us investigate performance and other issues. These applications logs do not contain personal information and sensitive data like IAM credentials. When you contact us for support, we may check these logs to attend to your request. Finally, these logs are purged after 30 days.
